Epilating problems

I've noticed that everytime I epilate I get ingrown hairs, why does this happen and what can I do to prevent this?

Hi Sam, Remember these are the steps you need to take to prepare the skin for epilating:
  • Make sure you exfoliate the skin everyday, this helps remove dead skin cells and lifts any hairs that grow under the skin.
  • Take the time to moisturise your body daily as this will also make a difference when you come to epilate.
The reason you keep getting ingrown hairs is probably because your not preparing the skin for epilation beforehand, if you follow the steps above this should prevent ingrown hairs when epilating.
