House valuation said that roof was covered with snow and now I need to get a roofing contractor
Had a valuation on a house I was interested in buying, the report came back with holding £2000. The valuer advised I get a competent roofing contractor to examine all roof coverings to make wind and weather tight. Further down the report he says at the time of inspection thick layers of snow covered all roof areas. So because he did a valuation when the house was snow covered, I have to pay a roofing contractor to come and inspect it, costing me. Is their anything that I can do about this?
